I made the kids a whole bunch of baked cotton balls, but Jackson was not very interested in them and Ari just wanted to eats them.

Water Play

Am I the only parent that thinks its totally cool to go play in water on a cold day? In all fairness it was warm water.

Trying to coax leaves off the trees for his sink/ float experiments. 

His trike is always cornered in snails! Somehow he never seems to notice. I bought him a cool book about turtles and snails to try to get him interested.

Rainbow Rice

Most people use vinegar or rubbing alcohol when the color pasta or rice, but I just stuck uncooked white rice in a plastic bag and dropped in whatever color food coloring and shook all together until it was coated. I left the rice in the baggies for about two day without and molding or anything so I'm not to worried.
